Hotel occupancy in Playa del Carmen is estimated to reach levels close to 100%, with local authorities anticipating a successful holiday season where more than 40,000 tourists from all over the world are expected to arrive. The local Government said that in June it registered an occupation of 86.78% of hotel rooms and in July had 89.3%.
On the coast of Playa del Carmen there are 21 hotels with 523 rooms
in the whole municipality there are 269 with 38, 661 rooms.
In agreement with the local authorities of local tourism, there is guaranteed safety for walkers, with actions carried out by the three levels of Government, so that families can enjoy the attractions in the state of Quintana Roo.
