Tulum new airport set for 2023

The Mexican president López Obrador announces the acquisition of 200, 000 hectares for the construction of the new airport in Tulum, Quintana Roo. 

This Airport is part of the development program of the south of Mexico. It will have the capacity to receive over 4 Million users. 

Gustavo Vallejo, who is in charge of two sections of the Tren Maya and Felipe Angeles airports, will be in charge of the Tulum airport.

Tulum is one of the most expensive cities in the Riviera Maya. This area has a ceiling of 115 thousand 695 pesos per m2 and an average cost of 56 thousand 600.

Tulum has become the rising star in terms of investment in the Riviera Maya. The most common investments in this area are residential, touristic, and commercial.

The main objective of the new airport is to increase the number of tourists that visit this area. It also expects the growth of the south of Quintana Roo.
